List price of homes here on the Palos Verdes Peninsula are continually rising with the average days on the market steadily decreasing. Historically, inventory is at an all time low while demand continues to increase. Once a buyers market, the tables have turned and sellers now have the advantage when listing their home for sale. The economics of supply and demand prove that with less competition on the market, sellers have been receiving higher and higher prices for their homes with, often times, multiple offers on the table. We tend to see increased inventory on the market come summertime due to the ability to relocate and children out of school for summer break. However, during this time, there are also more buyers on the market, but if you act quickly, there is more opportunity to find a home that more closely resembles the criteria you are looking for.
